These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all residential, concierge, and business services provided by Vibe Home IT LLC (“Vibe Home IT,” “we,” “us,” “our”) to clients (“you,” “your”). By requesting service, paying an invoice, or submitting a request form, you agree to these Terms.
Quick summary: $50 Diagnostics Quick Look (credited if you proceed within 7 days) • $35 on-site travel (within St. Louis metro) • Clear fixed pricing for most services • No hidden fees.
1. Scope of Services
We provide technology support and consulting including remote troubleshooting, PC optimization, malware cleanup, home network setup, mobile device support, Tech Concierge (device sourcing & setup), and business IT management (VIBE Pro). Services may be performed remotely or on-site in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas.
2. Pricing & Payment
- Residential services: All fixed prices are listed on Services.html. Payment is due at booking or completion.
- Diagnostics Quick Look: Optional $50 remote session for unknown issues; credited toward any full service booked within 7 days.
- On-site travel fee: Flat $35 for local STL metro. Additional mileage/time quoted in advance.
- Parts & sourcing: You may supply your own parts, or we can source them for you (standard sourcing fee applies, approval required).
- Business (VIBE Pro): Assessment and onboarding fees are billed up-front; recurring plans are monthly per user/device.
3. Diagnostics Quick Look & Remote Support
- Diagnostics Quick Look: A short remote triage session ($50) to identify issues and recommend solutions. Credited if you proceed to a full service within 7 days.
- Remote Services: If you already know your issue (e.g., optimization, cleanup, or network setup), you can skip diagnostics and book that fixed-price service directly.
- No-fix policy: If your issue can’t be resolved remotely (e.g., hardware failure), we’ll recommend an on-site visit; your $50 credit applies if scheduled within 7 days.
4. On-Site Services & Travel
- Coverage area: St. Louis metro region and nearby counties.
- Travel fee: $35 flat within standard area; beyond ~20 miles round-trip may incur extra cost (quoted beforehand).
- Access & safety: Clients must provide safe access to the workspace, devices, and credentials needed to perform the job.
5. Tech Concierge (Procurement & Setup)
- Process: 50% deposit → device sourcing & approval → remainder invoice → purchase → setup → delivery.
- Pricing: Concierge fee starts at $250 plus fair device markup. Delivery and setup included within local area.
- Support: 30 days of post-delivery support included; extended care available via Memberships or VIBE Pro.
6. VIBE Pro (Business Plans)
- Assessment: From $299, billed up-front. Includes device inventory, gap review, and health audit.
- Onboarding: One-time setup fee ($499–$2,499 typical) covering standardization, security, and documentation.
- Plans: Per-user monthly rate with service-level guarantees, proactive monitoring, and on-site credits per tier.
- Security add-ons: Security assessment or compliance support available separately.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Residential: Cancel 24+ hours before scheduled time for full refund. Cancellations under 24 hours may incur 25% fee. No-shows billed in full.
- Business: Assessments and onboarding fees are non-refundable once work begins. Rescheduling requires 48-hour notice.
8. After-Service Support & Warranty
- Residential: 7–30 days of limited support for the same issue, depending on service or membership level.
- Malware Cleanup: We remove active threats and secure your system but cannot guarantee against future infections.
- Hardware repairs: Covered under manufacturer warranty. We can assist with claims (service rates apply).
9. Data, Backups & Liability
- It is your responsibility to maintain backups before service. Data loss can occur; Vibe Home IT is not liable for data loss, corruption, or incidental damage beyond the service fee paid.
- We use best-practice handling, but all tech work carries inherent risk.
10. Privacy & Communication
- By requesting service, you consent to receive follow-up communication by phone, SMS, or email for scheduling or updates.
- Marketing messages are opt-in only; you may unsubscribe at any time.
- Your data is never sold or shared beyond what’s necessary to complete your service.
11. Disputes & Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri.
- Any disputes shall first attempt resolution in good faith; otherwise, binding arbitration will occur in St. Louis County, MO.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain valid.
